Minimum charge / small driveway

Standard driveway (3–4 cars)
£325–£425Typical detached-home driveway in block paving, tarmac or concrete. Full rotary clean plus post-treatment to slow regrowth.
Large driveway or long approach
£485–£685Larger frontages, sweeping drives and country-home approaches. Priced on the survey after a quick look at surface and access.
Driveway + patio combined

What changes the price
Size and layout
Square metres are the starting point, but layout matters — sweeping drives, gravel edging, planters and awkward corners take longer than the same area of open block paving.
Surface type
Block paving, tarmac, imprinted concrete and resin-bound each need a different method. Block paving usually needs re-sanding after; tarmac is cleaned at low pressure and can be restored with a sealer.
How dirty it is
A driveway cleaned every 18–24 months is much quicker than one that's had a decade of moss, black algae and oil marks. Heavier work factors into the price honestly.
Access and water
An outside tap is ideal but not essential. A long carry from the van, locked side gates or split-level frontages add time and factor into the quote.
Post-treatment
Every quote includes a biocide post-treatment that keeps the driveway looking clean for longer. It's not an upsell — it's how the finish lasts.
