Craft, not brute force

The pressure matters. So does the pause.

Anyone can hire a jet wash. Doing it properly — matching the method to the surface, pre-treating the dirt, using rotary heads for an even finish — is a craft. That's the difference between a clean patio and one with stripes across it.

  • Correct pressure and nozzle for every surface
  • Rotary cleaning heads for a stripe-free finish
  • Pre-treatment lifts the dirt so we don't rely on brute force
  • Debris rinsed away, joints inspected, area left tidy

Every surface, done properly

Where pressure washing is the right method.

Hard, robust surfaces respond well to controlled pressure. For render, roofs and delicate finishes we soft wash instead — see the render page for that method.

Patios & paths

Sandstone, limestone, porcelain and concrete slabs — cleaned at the correct pressure with rotary heads, never blasted flat.

Block-paved driveways

The classic pressure-wash job — deep clean the blocks, then optional re-sanding to lock the joints back in.

Concrete & tarmac

Oil-stained concrete pads, garage floors and tarmac drives cleaned with the right cleaners and controlled pressure.

Decking & timber

Softer timber decking cleaned at low pressure with the right chemistry — never gouged, never fibred out.

How it works

A calm, controlled clean.

No blasting, no rushing, no stripes across the slabs. Every pressure-wash job follows the same four steps.

  1. 01

    Assess

We match method, pressure and chemistry to the surface — never the other way around.

  2. 02

    Pre-treat

A safe cleaner is applied where needed so the pressure does less of the work.

  3. 03

    Clean

Controlled, overlapping passes with the rotary head produce an even, streak-free finish.

  4. 04

    Rinse & tidy

The area is rinsed, debris swept, and the surface left ready to walk on.

FAQs

Pressure washing questions, answered.

What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?+

Pressure washing uses water pressure to physically clean hard surfaces. Soft washing uses specialist chemistry at very low pressure — the right method for render, roofs and delicate surfaces. Both have their place; we use whichever one is right for the job.

Can pressure washing damage my patio or driveway?+

It can, when used at the wrong pressure or with the wrong nozzle. We only use pressure washing where it's genuinely the right method, at the pressure the surface can take. We never blast, and we never rush.

Do you provide water?+

We bring all the equipment, but we do need to connect to your outside tap. A working supply is required on site.

Will you re-sand my block paving?+

Yes — re-sanding is priced separately as an add-on to a driveway or patio clean. See the patio and driveway pages for details.

How long does the finish last?+

A properly cleaned patio typically stays looking good for two to three years before it needs attention again. A yearly rinse extends that further.

Do I need to be home?+

No. As long as we have access and an outside tap, you don't need to be there. We send before and after photos on completion.
