Gutter cleaning is famously hard to check — they're 20ft up and you can't see inside them. That's why every job ends with an airflow test and proof photos of the cleared runs, sent to you on the day.

What equipment is used for gutter cleaning?
A high-reach vacuum with carbon poles, cleared from the ground. Terraces, semis, detached homes and extensions are all fixed price; larger or unusual homes are priced on request.
Awkward access & extensions
Conservatories, side-return extensions and blocked-in gutters are all included in the standard clear — reached safely with the vacuum poles.
Three-storey & town houses
Higher reach with additional carbon poles — up to 40ft. Choose Larger / unusual property when booking and I'll price it for you.
Proof photos & airflow test
Every standard clear ends with an airflow test of the system and proof photos sent to you — so you can see the finished result for yourself.

How does gutter cleaning work?
No ladders leaned on your fascias, no guesswork, no mess left behind. Every gutter job follows the same considered process.

Set up
The vacuum is set up from a safe spot on the drive or lawn. You don't need to be home.

Clear the runs
Moss, leaves, silt and nesting material are drawn out of every run of guttering — including hoppers and downpipe tops.
- 03
Unblock & airflow test
Downpipes are unblocked and the whole system is airflow tested.
- 04
Finish & send photos
Debris is bagged and removed. Proof photos of the cleared gutters are sent to you the same day.

Do you clean the gutters from a ladder?+
No. Almost every job is done from the ground with a high-reach carbon vacuum system. It's safer for me and safer for your fascias — ladders leaned against uPVC gutters are the most common way they get damaged.
How do I know the gutters are actually clean?+
Proof photos of the cleared gutters are sent to you on completion, so you see the result, not just a written 'it's done'.
What if a gutter is broken or leaking?+
If I spot a problem, I'll photograph it and let you know so you can arrange a repair. I won't push repair work you don't need.
How often should gutters be cleaned?+
Once a year is typical for most homes. Properties surrounded by mature trees usually need it twice — once in late autumn and once in spring.
Do you clear the downpipes too?+
Yes, downpipes are unblocked as part of the standard clear, and the system is airflow tested. Full underground drain clearance is a separate specialism I don't cover.
Do I need to be home?+
No. As long as there's side access to the property, you don't need to be there. I send the proof photos as soon as I finish.
