This was my third visit for this Long Crendon customer. I’ve previously worked on his home and his parents’ house, so he knows me, trusts me and knows the standard of work to expect.
This time the main job was a routine annual gutter clear to keep the system flowing properly. He also asked me to freshen up the outside of the house, including the fascias and soffits, conservatory and windows.
When I got there, the gutters were really full. There’s quite a lot of moss on the roof, so it wasn’t particularly surprising to find a good build-up in the gutters.
The white uPVC fascias and soffits had also started to go a little green, and the conservatory roof was looking grimy after a couple of years since my previous visit.
I started by assessing what needed doing and making a plan for the job.
All of the gutters were cleared using my GVS Panther gutter vacuum system. I unblocked the downpipes and, once everything was clear, sent proof photos straight to the customer.
Next was the conservatory, including the conservatory roof. A gentle softwash was in order here and it came up absolutely beautifully.
Finally, I softwashed all of the white uPVC fascias and soffits around the house to get them looking lovely and bright again, before finishing everything off with a pure water window clean.
The property is a modern four-bedroom detached house and access was pretty straightforward.
The total cost for this particular job was £350.
It’s always nice going back to a regular customer. They know me, they trust me and they know what standard of work to expect — and everything was looking fresh again by the time I left.
