THE POWER WASH PRO PROMISE

  • We turn up on time
  • We communicate honestly and clearly
  • We do what we say we'll do
  • We leave your home better than we found it

Proof, not promises

A finish that lifts the whole property.

Most driveways don't need replacing — they need restoration. A controlled wash lifts years of dirt, and a proper post-treatment kills the algae and moss at the root so the surface stays cleaner for longer.

  • Lifts weeds, moss, black algae and ingrained oil marks
  • Sharp, even finish across the whole driveway — no zebra stripes
  • Optional kiln-dried sand refill on block paving to lock the blocks
  • Optional tarmac restorer or sealing quoted separately as add-ons

Every surface, done properly

What is the right method for cleaning a driveway?

Different surfaces need different pressure, different chemistry and a different pair of hands. Andrew has cleaned every surface below on driveways across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Block paving

Sharp, even clean of the blocks with careful attention to the joints. Optional kiln-dried sand refill and re-pointing available so the surface stays locked and weed-free for longer.

Tarmac

Gentle, low-pressure cleaning followed by biocide and, where suitable, Smartseal Tarmac Restorer to bring the deep, factory-fresh black back — often a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Concrete & imprinted

Controlled rotary cleaning that lifts algae, oil and traffic film without scarring the surface. Sealing available on imprinted concrete once fully dry.

Resin & gravel edging

Careful cleaning that respects the binder on resin-bound drives, plus tidy-up of gravel edging and border strips so the whole approach looks considered.

How it works

How does driveway cleaning work?

No rushed jobs, no blown joints, no scarred tarmac. Every driveway gets the same considered process — that's why the results hold up.

FAQs

Driveway cleaning questions, answered.

Will pressure washing damage my block paving?+

No — not when it's done properly. We use the correct rotary heads at controlled pressure to lift dirt without gouging the blocks or blowing joints out. We never blast.

Do you re-sand the joints afterwards?+

Yes — re-sanding with fresh kiln-dried sand is available as a priced add-on. It locks the blocks, keeps weeds down and gives the driveway a properly finished look.

Can you clean and restore tarmac?+

Yes. Tarmac is cleaned at low pressure, then treated with biocide. On suitable drives we can also apply Smartseal Tarmac Restorer to bring back that deep, even black — often a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Will you remove oil stains?+

In most cases yes. Fresh oil marks lift easily with the right treatment; older, deeper stains fade significantly but occasionally leave a shadow. We'll be honest about what to expect on the survey.

How long does a driveway take?+

Most domestic driveways are completed in a single day, including post-treatment. Larger driveways or driveway + patio combos can run into a second day.

Do I need to be home?+

No — as long as we have access to the driveway and an outside tap, you don't need to be there. We'll send before and after photos when we finish.

How often should a driveway be cleaned?+

Most driveways in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire benefit from a professional clean every 18–24 months. Shaded or north-facing drives may need it sooner.

Do you offer sealing?+

Yes — sealing is an optional add-on on suitable surfaces once fully dry, usually on a return visit. It slows re-growth and makes the next clean easier.
