This job came from a neighbour recommendation on Fanshawe Road in Thame.
It’s a large four-to-five-bedroom detached house, and the customer was out at work. They wanted someone they could trust to just get the job done properly without needing to be at home.
The gutters hadn’t been cleared for a while and there was a significant build-up of debris. At the rear, the dormer windows made access much more awkward than a straightforward gutter clean.
For this one, I used my gutter vacuum with a six-pole setup, which meant I could reach those high-level gutters from the ground.
I worked around the property, clearing all the gutters and then checking and clearing the downpipes to make sure the whole system was clear.
Once everything was done, I took proof photos and sent them straight over to the customer.
That’s important on jobs like this, especially when the customer isn’t home. They don’t just want to be told the gutters are clear — they want to be able to see it.
The customer was really pleased with the result, and the gutters are now properly cleared going into the autumn and winter months.
Another straightforward job in Thame, and another one that came from a neighbour recommendation.
