This was a repeat customer in Thame town centre who got back in touch to have the gutters cleared on their period home.
One section of gutter sits above a fragile slate roof, which makes access the main consideration on this job. Walking on that roof simply isn’t sensible — one misplaced foot could crack a slate and create a completely different problem.
That’s exactly the sort of situation where the gutter vac is useful. I was able to clear the gutter properly without needing to stand on the lower roof.
Once the work was finished, I took proof photos so the customer could see the gutter had been cleared.
It was a straightforward job, but a good example of why the right equipment matters on older properties and awkward roof layouts.
